Is anyone else running Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" and experiencing your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM (in my case, DVD Writer) disappearing after about a day of uptime?
Yes, sir! Lots of strange little problems with this release. I thought I had an intermittent drive, but others are reporting the same thing. I haven't found a fix, yet.

Havn't seen that one but i went back to Jaunty....Hopefully all the kinks will be ironed out by the next release

I've been bad, er good, err bad. Ummm, I wait a while before upgrading. Sticking with 9.04 for a bit.
