Trixbox

Anyone had any luck installing trixbox and a softphone? I was able to install the application as well as a softphone. I used two pc's inside my router's firewall and was able two call the ext numbers. I haven't been able to get an outside line. Wondering if anyone was able to do this?

I'm using this disto to run the digital (SIP) and analog phones in my house. Plus, I have it running in production at two companies I work for.

Sounds like you're going to need to set up a trunk and create an outbound route if you want to call folks outside of your system. If you don't know what that is or how to do it, reply and I'll point you in the right direction
