I think Mr. Turner owes an explanation on the eight Vista security patches "of a possible gaping hole in our code that a 9-year could use to compromise the security of our unfinished and untested product" that downloaded to WSUS yesterday.

A coworker brought me a Vista laptop the other day. It had serious security. On boot up, it went to a blue screen with a stop code.
That was secure. Couldn't get in at all. However ...
Google sent me to a website where an enterprising gentleman described using Linux to fix the C1F5 stop code problem.
http://www.delmartian.com/nullpointers/Workaround-for-STOP-0x0000C1F5-0xC1F5-C1F5-BSOD-CLFS.SYS-KB946084.html

I enjoyed telling the laptop's owner that I used Linux to fix Windows. hah!
