Is This Thing On? Board E-mail Definitely Doesn't Function

Alright, this place has been dead, lately... So, here's a post to see if the board (and anyone else) is still alive.

FYI.. the board's e-mail function appears to be non-functional. For anyone that has signed up for an account in the past couple of weeks, your account is active - you just didn't get an e-mail notification.

Everyone may want to check to see if they have any private messages. I'll see what can be done to fix or work around this problem. Send any problems you notice to webmaster@fwlug.org.

We did...but we got lost and ended up in Cleveland.

I took some time off to go crash A-Kon this past weekend...I was about to be peeved that I didn't go to the Caribbean with everyone else but if the group just ended up in Cleveland then I think I may have made the better choice....

I have been busy working 3 AM to 11 AM or later at Bell Helicopter. And then sleeping most of the day light hours.

I did an install of Kubuntu 8.04 and still got issues. The slider with the different amount of desktops is broken. I DID get the graphics to work. It is missing resolution options but I don't want to mess with that too much until I hook it up to a monitor it is going to stay with.

How about everyone else?

I think I have the e-mail functioning, again. A couple of test messages indicates that it's working.

Has anyone seen or heard from Terry? I've e-mailed him a couple of times and haven't gotten a response. I hope everything is alright and he's just busy...

I don't show any new private messages on the board. With the broken mail function, I may not get the notifications if you send them through the board.

Did you send them to the home address? FYI... Charter has been known to screw up e-mail delivery, too. I'll check and make sure they didn't end up in the spamtrap for some reason.

Very strange. I should have received them by now. E-mail is definitely working as I received a couple of e-mails from my stepfather. I just checked the logs on the home server and there's nothing showing from you. I decided to check the spam trap - nothing.

However, I have apparently won the Australian lottery.
