Free Live Concert

Postby stack » Sun Jun 29, 2008 1:51 pm

Hey guys,
It's my Grandmothers Birthday in July, and one of the things she really likes is Piano music. One of her favorite artists is Matt Holtzman ( http://www.mattholtzman.com/ ) so several of us got together and have brought him here for a concert. Due to legal issues and hoops that are required, selling tickets is mind boggling complicated and would have pushed back his concert for months.

So we are doing the concert for FREE!

There is no cover charge or tickets or anything. You don't have to spend a dime (though if you really like the music, please buy a CD). The group of us that invited him are fronting the cost. The difference between having him perform for 20 people or for 100+ people was like 200$ (plus CD sales ;-)). So that means, if you know anyone who likes this kind of music, please invite them! Pass around his website and tell anyone you know that may enjoy his music. Tell your church! Make it a date with your S.O.! If we pack the church, then it is totally worth it for us.

His website http://www.mattholtzman.com/ has the details on the where/when (also posted below) and it also has like 5 songs of his for you to listen to so you know if you will like his music.

Again the concert is completely free and open to anyone and while I am hyping up CD sales and donations, if you don't want to spend a penny you don't have too! It's Free!

Hope you will come!
Have fun!
